The program takes approximately 6 months to complete. You will come to the Cithara Shop once a week for approximately 3 hours at a time. During this time you will learn how to build and maintain your guitar. You will also learn how to safely operate and care for the various machines in the shop. Courses are held Monday-Friday in the morning or during the evening. Sessions will be booked on a first come first serve basis.
The cost for the program is $2,300 plus the cost of materials. A standard guitar has about $700 - $1,000 of materials; the total cost of that guitar/program would be approximately $3,100 (plus tax). Payment plans are available upon request.
